Behind The Scenes: Episode One – Place Of Strength

After recently announcing the rebrand of my channel ‘Falconry and Me’ (watch the video here: https://youtu.be/OZRFrl6d_Yc), I have been working hard at home to plan out a new direction for the channel.

Over the next few weeks I will be busy filming in my home territory, in order to create the first few episodes in my new series of YouTube videos focusing around my life and adventures from our home here in the Angus Glens of Scotland. While I have a lot of different topics I’d like to cover, I have decided to start with one of the most spectacular castles in Scotland. Steeped in history, it feels like a location straight out of a fantasy novel.

Dunnottar castle and its nearby beach are an absolute visual spectacle. There is so much geology and history leaking out of this place that makes it feel so very special to visit. James, Alfie and I had a wonderful day exploring the ruins, learning about the castle’s turbulent history and soaking in the unique and wild atmosphere this place has to offer.
